The Carrier OPN-MPCXP is engineered for versatile HVAC control. It supports multiple I/O configurations, accommodating a wide range of HVAC applications. The controller can connect to up to 20 field points directly and can be expanded with additional MPC Open XPIO modules for increased capacity. It is capable of managing up to 999 control programs and 12,000 BACnet objects.

For communication, this controller features a BACnet port, supporting both ARC156 and MS/TP protocols. It also includes an Rnet port for connecting sensors and display units, as well as a Local Access port for easy system setup and troubleshooting. The Xnet Remote Expansion port is provided for communication with expanders.
